Tax manager Chris Brunson brings experience in architecture and a degree in business management to McGuire Sponsel and leads the firm’s Fixed Asset Services practice. In his role, he manages production of all cost segregation and fixed asset studies.
Brunson’s work with real estate developers, business property owners and design professionals gives him a well-rounded understanding of construction methods and materials, building financing and property uses.
His education has equipped him to effectively coordinate scheduling, execution and delivery of projects. He earned degrees in business management and international business from Purdue University and Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.
Brunson has found a niche in cost segregation services with McGuire Sponsel and has developed a detailed understanding of construction methods, construction project management, asset depreciation techniques, relevant tax codes and court rulings. Brunson has extensive experience leading a multitude of clients through the Internal Revenue Service’s audit process.
Originally from Indianapolis, he and wife Beth live in Indianapolis and have two children.
